AT&T has announced plans to hire 48 additional employees for its Joplin Call Center, 4001 Richard Joseph Blvd.
The announcement follows the recent hiring of 48 other employees.
The jobs are Business Customer Service Specialist positions in the Business Customer Service segment, according to a statement by AT&T. The employees answer customer/client requests or inquires concerning service, products, billing, equipment and claims.
Starting pay for the positions ranges from $10.25 to $11.52 per hour, depending on education and experience. The jobs are full-time and offer benefits including health care and 401(k) contribution matching. New employees receive 10 weeks of paid training and on-the-job support as they learn new job skills.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have six months experience operating a computer in Windows-based environment and be available to work a flexible schedule, which includes all hours of call center operation.
