Joplin police looking for bank robber considered armed and dangerous

JOPLIN, Mo. — Police are looking for a man they consider armed and dangerous following an armed robbery of the First State Bank branch at 1651 W. 7th St. at 10:20 a.m. today.

No one was injured in the robbery, according to a statement from the Joplin Police Department.

The suspect escaped driving a black SUV, which police say they have recovered.

According to police, the suspect has been identified as Johnny M. Patrom.
