Neosho officials reports major streets open

NEOSHO, Mo. — Most of the Neosho’s major streets were open this morning, but drivers are urged to continue to use caution when traveling, according to a city news release.

A Neosho Public Works crew salted and plowed streets from 11:30 p.m. Monday through this morning, when a day crew took over. Plowing will continue throughout today.

The city had 320 tons of salt and gravel mixed and ready on Monday afternoon. The city has on hand around 500 tons of mixed and unmixed salt and gravel remaining.
