Sheriff’s deputies searching for missing Alba 15-year-old

ALBA, Mo. — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old Alba girl who has been missing from her home late Sunday.

Christina M. True was last seen at 11 p.m. Sunday in the bedroom of her home, Sheriff’s Det. Roy Master’s said Tuesday.

He said sheriff’s deputies have been looking for the girl since they were contacted by her parents on Sunday night.

“We’ve chased down so many leads,” he said. “We did a neighborhood canvass the first thing and people in Alba have checked all the buildings and the school grounds.”

Masters said officials are particularly concerned because the girl has diabetes.

“We need to find her so we can get her home and get her medical issues addressed,” he said.

Master’s said information on the girl also has been posted on the Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook Page. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the youngster is asked  to call Det. Masters or Det. Sgt. Roy Teed at 346-8177, ext. 1258.
