AT&T to hire 48 employees at Joplin Call Center

AT&T announced today that it plans to fill 48 open positions at its Joplin Call Center, 4001 Richard Joseph Blvd.

The jobs are Business Customer Service Specialist positions in AT&T’s small business segment. Those hired  answer customer/client requests or inquires concerning service, products, billing, equipment and claims.

Starting pay for the positions ranges from $10.25-$11.52 per hour, depending on education and experience. The jobs are full-time and offer benefits including health care and a 401(k) contribution matching.

New employees will receive 10 weeks of paid training and on-the-job support as they learn new job skills.

Applicants mubst be at least 18 years of age, have six months experience operating a computer in Windows-based environment and be able to work a flexible schedule that includes 7 a.n. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
