National Transportation Safety Board releases report on plane crash that killed Joplin attorney


— The National Transportation Safety Board has released the preliminary report on the plane crash outside Stotts City that killed R. Deryl Edwards Jr., a Joplin attorney, and Richard A. Armstrong Jr., a flight instructor from Neosho.

The report indicates that the airplane, a twin-engine Cessna 310, began leaking fuel or oil from one engine prior to the accident.
