Medical examiner: 24 dead in Oklahoma twister

Emergency crews searched the broken remnants of an Oklahoma City suburb Tuesday for survivors of a massive tornado that flattened homes and demolished an elementary school.

Keenan Krise Conger, age 49, of Carl Junction, went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2011, as a result of the tornado that went through Joplin.

Michael Wayne Dennis, age 52, of Galena, Kan., passed away at 11:57 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011, at St. John’s Medical Center in Springfield, from complications due to injuries he sustained in the May 22nd Joplin tornado, while he was a patient at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin.
