Concert to benefit widowed tornado victim

JOPLIN, Mo. — A benefit show will help raise funds for the widow of a tornado victim.

Rich McCready, Joe and Derek Rhatigan of Head Change and Jason Sain and the Foolhearted will perform during the Don Lansaw Memorial Benefit and Silent Auction. The event will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Schifferdecker Park.

Auction items include tickets to a Kansas City Royals game, a NASCAR race and autographed items. The event will include face painting, balloon animals and a car show.

Funds will benefit Bethany Lansaw, the wife of Don, who died in the May 22 tornado.
