JOPLIN, Mo. —
PCS Phosphate Co. has donated $35,000 to the Joplin School District’s Bright Futures program.
PCS Phosphate Co. is a subsidiary of PotashCorp, which makes animal feed ingredients in Joplin.
Executives and managers with PotashCorp on Wednesday presented the check to Joplin school officials.
Superintendent C.J. Huff said in a news release that he was grateful for the generous gift from the local business to the Bright Futures program. He said the donation would be put to good use.
