The Salvation Army will open it’s doors at 320 East 8th Street as a cooling station for those in need. The center’s gymnasium will be open, starting Tuesday, july 19, to anyone needing to take a break from the heat and rehydrate.

The American Red Cross said Monday that only 10 people stayed at its shelter in Webb City on Sunday night, and that most of those have now found housing.
