Seniors across Southwest Missouri are beginning the next chapter of their lives as they walk across a stage to receive their high-school diplomas.
They learned a variety of things, from the most basic language to advanced math. But when asked about the most important thing they learned in high school, seniors said they came away with a variety of life lessons.
They have one thing in common, however: Many of them will miss the friends they made in high school.
The Globe caught up with several seniors hanging out in Northpark Mall this week to find out what high school had taught them about life.
