COLD TO WARM

What a difference a few days can make. Participants in the 10th running of the Joplin Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning faced a wind chill below the freezing mark. The high Tuesday in Joplin was 63 degrees, and the forecast for Thursday and Friday calls for highs in the 70s. The Turkey Trot, put on by Starlit Running Co. of Joplin, was host to about 1,350 participants, counting adults and children. COURTESY | STARLIT RUNNING CO.
