A motorcyclist from Liberal was injured about 3 p.m. Sunday in an accident on Northeast First Lane, about 4 miles north of Lamar in Barton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Brian T. Wright, 35, was taken to Barton County Cox Hospital with moderate injuries.
The accident occurred, according to the patrol, when Wright lost control of his northbound bike on loose gravel and was thrown from the vehicle.
• Two motorcyclists were injured about 4:30 a.m. Sunday in an accident on Highway 39, about 5 miles north of Shell Knob in Barry County, according to the state patrol.
Driver Paul Miller, 31, of Golden, and passenger Kristen M. Fink, 23, of Cassville, were taken to Mercy Hospital Springfield with moderate injuries.
The patrol reported the accident occurred when both riders were thrown off the northbound motorcycle when it hit a deer in the road.
• A Mount Vernon man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on Highway 97, about 3 miles north of Stotts City in Lawrence County, according to the state patrol.
Hubert H. Conway, 86, was flown by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.
The crash occurred, according to the patrol, as Nicholas R. Hawkins, 30, of Marionville, attempted to turn left into a driveway and pulled into the path of Conway's northbound vehicle, which struck Hawkins’ southbound vehicle in the rear.
