PINEVILLE, Mo. — A McDonald County Circuit Court judge today granted a full order of protection against Newton County pastor George Otis Johnston to a 17-year-old Anderson girl.
Judge John LePage, action on a petition for protection filed by a family member of the girl issued the order.
Johnston, 63, the pastor for the Grandview Valley Baptist Church North in Granby faces eight felony counts of child-sexual-abuse. He turned himself over to authorities on Friday, but immediatly posted a $100,000 bond and was released.
His arraignment is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Newton County Circuit Court on those charges.
