EL DORADO, Ark. — The Missouri Southern men’s golf team finished seventh in the final team standings on Tuesday at the Arkansas Collegiate tournament at Mystic Creek Golf Club.

The Lions finished with a two-day score of 320.

Adam Vining led Southern with a 160 and tied for 21st place. Taylor Haltom carded a 161 and tied for 25th, while Jeremy Dunham took 32nd after carding a 164.

Also for the Lions, Alec Dominic tied for 42nd with a 168 and Tristan Haltom withdrew because of injury.

Tourney host Southern Arkansas captured the team championship with a 609 and Henderson State was second (612).

Southeastern Oklahoma, Arkansas Tech, Southern Nazarene, Harding, Missouri Southern and Missouri S&T rounded out the field.

The Lions will compete at the Rogers State Hillcat Classic next Monday and Tuesday at Bailey’s Ranch Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma. Southern’s women’s golf team will also compete at the event.
