Once a standout at Joplin High School, former Eagle Logan Stanley was named to the Westminster College Athletics Hall of Fame.

Stanley, a 2000 graduate of JHS, was inducted on Oct. 6.

"I am deeply grateful for this honor," Stanley said in a release. "At Westminster I was able to play a game I love and as a team enjoyed great success. I cultivated wonderful relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime.

"The impact that my teammates had on my life is impossible to measure. I will never be able to properly thank them enough or repay them."

A first team all-conference selection in 1999 and second-team pick in 1997 and 1999, Stanley was named USA III All-American, Hewlett Packard All-American and Football Gazette All-American in 1998.

Stanley and his wife, Emily, have two children, Reid and Marianne. He currently works as a financial advisor for Edward Jones.
